Is there a device which turns the digital signal into analogue using VoIP?
I work at a radio station, and we're moving our phone system over to VoIP. However, we need to turn the digital feed coming from our Cisco 7960's into an analogue feed [normal phone line cable] so that we can plug it into our Telephone Balance Unit / Hybrid, so we can put the calls to air. However I haven't found a device that can do this, any ideas?

- nothing that will output from your VoIP phone to an analog phone line... you can use a SPA 8000 which is an 8 line VoIP ATA (analog telephone adapter) or a SPA 3102 which is a 2 line adapter - or one of many other ATA devices that are offered from linksys you can set the above ATA devices up as extensions then if you want a call to go on air you transfer the call to the extension of the ATA device... or you could always just keep the old analog phone system, and use SPA 8000 devices to convert the VoIP to analog lines...
- You can also use the Linksys/Cisco PAP2T-NA or SPA2102-NA. These ATA's support two separate VoIP to Analog lines. This blog explains the differences and how to configure with a VoIP carrier: http://blog.cqvoip.net/2009/12/linksys-cisco-pap2t-vs-spa2102.html http://blog.cqvoip.net/2009/12/configuring-linksyscisco-spa2102-with.html I use both these adapters with my home VoIP services and configure them myself.
