Have you used RingCentral? I need a small business phone system for just 2 users.......?
...for now. Others I should look at? Would you recommend RingCentral? Or who else would you look at... the whole set of choices right now is so baffling... any explanation of how to think about the choices would be appreciated!

- Ring Central is now Google Voice. Define small business phone system. I have a VoIP service that lets me ring both a VoIP line and a cell phone. I have a Panasonic phone and voice mail system that has mailboxes and email notification for every mailbox. It's a choice of whether you have a storefront or plan to have just a 2-user virtual system. You can do a search for VIRTUAL PBX http://www.google.com/search?q=virtual+pbx&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a and find some low cost choices for entry level systems. - Hi there – I’m a very satisfied RingCentral customer, and I have to say that though Google Voice in itself is a very fine product, it’s not really geared towards businesses. (And no, the two are not affiliated with each other.) With RingCentral, you can get an 800-number, plus local numbers in several cities if you so choose (as I have). RingCentral is also selling a multi-line phone system, which allows me to use a single virtual PBX system that rings multiple phones simultaneously (or in a set order). All in all, if you’re running a business, no matter how small, you need to go with RC. Cheers! Ben
- carl is off his game today... .ringcentral is not now google voice... grandcentral is what is now google voice... ringcentral is a completely different company (although there are similarities in the offerings) ringcentral offers more features, and functionality than google voice... i personally have not had any experience with ring central - but every review that i have found about there service so far has been positive... if they fit your businesses needs then they should be fine... if you have any thing specific that you are seeking in a telephone service provider, perhaps you can expand on your question and get a more detailed answer here for alternative providers...
- Just wanted to drop in a note to let you know that PBX+ is now offering a free PBX with a local number in US and UK. Features include speech recognition, call forwarding, voicemail, unlimited extensions (extension trees) etc. - http://www.pbxplus.com I tried almost all systems out there. Finally, I settled with PBX Plus. So i suggest you to signup into this pbxplus.com and hope it will be a right choice for your business needs.
- I have been a RingCentral user for almost 3 years now. They're not the cheapest; nor the most expensive, but I think general consensus among users and critics is that they are the most reliable. You can read my review here: http://www.small-business-phone.com/rc You can download my FREE guide to small business phone systems here. Good luck! J.B. Malik Small-Business-Phone.com
