Number of computers in house: 3 Computer 1: Old Certified Data computer bought in 2005. Very slow... Windows XP Home x32 AMD Sempron 3000+ 1.80 GHz 700 MB RAM 80 GB HDD Crappy VIA Integrated GFX... Computer 2: HP HDX16 Laptop with wireless Windows 7 Pro x64 Intel Core 2 Duo P7450 2.13 GHz 3 MB 4 GB DDR2 RAM "320 GB" HDD Nvidia 9600M GT GFX Computer 3: Cheap computer I built myself... Windows 7 Pro x64 Intel Pentium Dual Core E6500 2MB 2GB DDR3 RAM 200 GB HDD Integrated Intel 4500 HD Devices: Rogers Modem (Don't know about the specifics...) TRENDnet Router (Specifics Below) Linksys Cisco VoiP Router for Phone service (Also don't know about the specifics) Specifics ISP: Rogers Cable Internet Router: TRENDnet 54 Mbps 802.11g Wireless Router TEW-432BRP Configuration: TV Cable to Modem to Router and the 4 way port to VoiP Router, Computer 3 and Computer 1 via Wired and Computer 2 is wireless. Things I see: System light (The LED light that says System underneath the light and I don't think it usually flashes...) flashes at a constant rate PC light (There's an LED light that says PC on the modem and it usually don't flash...) flashes at a more rapid but still constant rate Problem: All computers in household get disconnected from internet at the same times and get reconnected in less than a minute. It happens very often All computers in house have Static IP Address Now I need to know if there's something wrong with my router (It hasn't been unplugged for a year or 2), it was placed on the back of the sofa (Like the place where you rest your back...) and the same thing goes for the modem and VoiP router), Computer 1 (It's very old and I want to build another one...) or the modem Yes all computers are disconnected form internet and has that balloon (on win xp) that pops up and says so The balloon says Network Cable Unplugged

  1. Are all computers disconnected from the Internet (which means no Internet access) or the operating system shows "Cable unplugged" or something? In the second case I would blame your router for power adapter problem or overheating, in the first case that could be your modem.
