Hi I want to start my own business buying + selling mobile phones?

The problem is Advertising. My local paper want £80 per week for a 3cm square box , but i can't afford that .I have free ads out but don't seem to be doing much. I have ads in newsagents windows but again very quiet. Has anybody got any ideas how i can get my business around without costing an arm + a leg. Your ideas would be most welcome. Thankyou

1. seriously try ebay! its the best place, and its free, plus u can do lots of market research before hand.. ow i have a Nokia N95 8GB, ill sell it to you for £150....
2. real businesses spend money on advertising - free ads will not get you enough business to survive against all the businesses that DO advertise the regular way
3. Ebay would be good for you matey, create your own store
4. Very competitive. There is a free course at thritydaychallenge.com. It shows you the basics on promoting a prodcut or service online through the use of free blogs and articles.
