  1. It is not called a "password" if there is a sticker on the router look for a "wep" or "wpa" this is the "password". Or look in the paper work that came with it.
  2. Most wireless routers hide the password or WEP key so you can't just connect and see it. In addition, the router will have a password that's required before you can change the wireless password or key. If I owned the router, I would find the instruction manual and learn how to reset it to factory state. The default password will be in the manual. From there you can connect to the router and reset the wireless password. BUT (and that's a big but) if you don't know how to reconfigure the router, you'll never get connected--and neither will anyone else. If you're uncomfortable with this, call the router manufacturer or the internet service provider that installed it and get them to walk you through the process. hth
  3. It should be on the control box (on a sticker) or else in the original paperwork given to you when the box was installed. If that doesnt work, call your internet provider, they are able to change the network key if not provide you with the current one. Then I would keep the info on a notepad doc or word doc on the desktop of your PC or somewhere you can retrieve fairly easily.
