How can I do a system restore for toshiba satellite without disc?

I have a toshiba satellite L35-s2174 I need to do a system restore on it. I lost the disc and it is extremely hard to search on my phone for a way to restore it manually. I have manually restored other computers without the disc so I was wondering if I can do it for my computer. Thank you for help.

1. What operating system is installed on the Toshiba ? Press F12 at start up to enter the built in system recovery if it has Vista or Windows 7 as the OS.
