How can I set up my home phone to function like a business phone system and rout calls to other phones?
I have vonage and would like to give callers the options of ringing the home number or 1 of 4 other mobile numbers (Dial 1 for Suzy, 2 for Billy, etc...). Vonage can forward to one number after a certain number of rings or it can simultaneously ring up to 5 other numbers. Is there a way to set this up with Vonage or other service? I was hoping that Google voice could do it but after looking into it, it doesn't have the capability. Any suggestions?

- The feature is auto attendant. It isn't cheap, so Google Virtual Attendant and be prepared for sticker shock. Usually it runs about $10--50 a month for the service plus a per minute charge. Here's one that I just ran across on a Google search http://www.halloo.com/Pricing
- a cheep way is to get some cordless phones (i recamend a panasonic one) then once you have set it up you press int (intercom) then you call any phone you need to.
- google voice will ring up to i think 5 phones simultaneously... if you want a FREE IVR that when callers are prompted to press 1 for so and so, or 2 for such and such you can check out http://phonebooth.com they give you a free DID and 200 free incoming minutes per month.
