Small Business Phone Systems -- PBX? Virtual PBX? Something Else?
I'm planning on starting a small business that will require lots of inbound and outbound phone calls. Including conference calling and setting up conference bridges. I want to know, should I be putting money into an OnSite PBX system or a Virtual PBX system? And if either, who is the best business that provides this service?

- There are many providers for the hosted PBX solution which sounds like it might be a good idea to investigate. Some systems that can really work out for you would be the Avaya, Panasonic, Packet8 systems that should probably handle most of your needs. The Avaya and Packet8 service also offer the IP phones that connect you to the system so you don't need to have any physical PBX boxes in your office/location. The only thing you will need to get is a fast enough internet connection, possibly even a T1 or faster line if the calls and lines are that significant. Good luck! Jenny
