can i use ip phones directly on my network without bax system?

i'd like to install IP phone system on my network , if i don't want to call outlines (analog) only from IP phone to IP phone , what do i need ? do i have to buy the bax system too

1. I think you mean PBX, right? I've never heard of BAX. But basically, all you need is an analog terminal adapter (ATA).
