How can i get rid of voice mail icon on a Nokia N70 when i dont have any voice mails?

My Phone keeps telling me i have a voice mail but when i ring the voice mail system there isnt one, how can i get rid of the icon. I have had the icon on my phone for weeks now

1. Just wait. It takes time for it to clear sometimes. You should also check your "missed calls" log, sometimes this triggers it to show up.
2. Turn it off and turn it back on, that usually works for mine
3. call your service provider if nothing else seems to work. this happened to my mom, and she got it all fixed when she called Cingular.
4. 1. call your service supplier and request to have your vice mail service canceled. 2. reset your setting
