Can you split a multi-line business line between 2 phones?
I would like to add another phone in a room that only has one wall jack. Is it possible to use a splitter to split that line for 2 different phones. We have 4 phone lines for the business and the phones we are using can handle up to 6 phone lines but the cord looks like a regular phone cord. We tried using a regular splitter but that didn't work. Is there a splitter for multiple lines that come into the phone on one cord.

- What kind of telephone system are you using?
- Maybe. It's called DUPLEX jack. If for some odd reason you have a digital phone system that uses only one pair, you can buy a 267-B splitter that brings out one pair in one position and the second pair in the other jack. You'll need some wiring in the back room to make it work. Phone system phones, unless they happen to be Panasonic DXDP phones with a jack on the back of the phone, don't let you run two phones on the same power.
