I left a voice mail with a interviewer , how long should before I call again or should I send an email?
I went on an interview out of state. The job has great opportunity in a great area near Tampa, FL. I really want the job but I don't want to appear like a pest. The primary interviewer told me they would contact in 1-2 weeks. Its been 2 weeks so I called the interviewer whose card I had and left a voice mail. Now I don't know how soon I should call or if I should leave a email instead.

- well with job interviews, the employer is normally pretty busy if it is a really good job offer. i would say wait about three or four days giving him/her plenty of time to get the voicemail and respond to. if they dont respond in 3-4 days then you could send them an email letting them know that you left a voicemail and you wanted to be sure they recieved it. its not just about timing, but also its how you go about asking. if you are polite and not pushy, then you wont be thought of as a pest. hope this helps and good luck with the job interview :]
- 12 to 24 hours
- maybe you should call and just ask so that your not waste your time waiting on them, and then you will know what it is you need to do.just ask and see if they recieved your voice mail that you had called on such a date__ and now you are just checking back. good luck
- Rather than sending an E-mail referencing the voicemail, send an email thanking them for their interview, for them taking the time to speak with you, and that you look forward to hearing from them soon. Compliment their offices and staff, and it doesn't hurt to compliment the questions that the interviewer had.
- are you kidding me? call them now! he is probably a busy man with interviews and taking care of the business at the same time. hes probably to busy to call you back. They will think you are very interested if you call today. call before someone else gets the job!!
