How can I redirect traffic to different Internet ISP by data traffic type?

Here is my question.... I have an IP-PBX in my network, along with a lot of computers also and we are all connected to internet. Our ISP has a very bad quality for VoIP services, so we want to buy a dedicated E1 for only VoIP Services... the problem is that we need to merge 2 networks so outgoing calls from IP-PBX go thru the E1 and internet data such as surfing and stuff, thru the normal ISP. How can I do this? Thank you for your help.

  1. You'll need to add a router to forward the VOIP traffic to the E-1 connection. Most VOIP systems use port 5060 for SIP. Diverting that port and any resulting session traffic to the dedicated circuit should clear things up nicely. It's possible that your IP PBX may have this capability so check the docs before you run out and buy a router.
