To all those in favor of boycotting Israel- a question?

This is in response to a question I saw about boycotting Israeli products or businesses that in some way support Israel... Below is a short list of some of the every day technological inventions either made by an israeli or made in Israel... please have a good look The cell phone was developed in Israel by Motorola, which has its largest development center in Israel. Most of the Windows NT operating system was developed by Microsoft-Israel. The Pentium MMX Chip technology was designed in Israel at Intel. Voice mail technology was developed in Israel. Both Microsoft and Cisco built their only R&D facilities outside the US in Israel. The AOL Instant Messenger was developed in 1996 by four young Israelis To all those strongly in favor of an Israel boycott- are you willing to give up these products ? Are you also willing to give up medicines and medical technology from the same source ? what if it was your child or a close familiy member ? And if you arent going to give up these products but are still in favor of an Israel boycott - why ? BTW - you are welcome to send any Israel/i made cell phones , pcs my way.... but some how i dont think ill be seeing many people giving them up .... Warlock - if the cell phone was invented in Israel, it still counts as an Israeli invention.... much of the research and development for the likes of Microsoft is done in Israel for good reason... because of the capabilities of scientists and computer specialists there... Im still waiting for an answer from the boycott israel crowd... strangely quiet so far... guys - im asking the question because someone here has already asked a question listing companies that support israel... there is a huge boycott israel campain going on... Im not interested in palastine / gaza politics on this one... i simply want to know if - all those who support the boycott israel campain for WHATEVER REASON are happy to also boycott the things ive listed... I personally am not that bothered about where my products come from in terms of countries, nor am i saying that products are more important than people,,, but given the feelings already expressed by people here about boycotting israel i think its a reasonable question to ask no ?

2. The cellphone was invented in Israel, but the inventor was an American. I'm not boycotting, but I just thought I should bring that up.

4. Why on earth would people boycott Israel. All they are doing is refusing to put up with crap anymore. If someone was continually attacking you and you decided to fight for yourself, is that wrong?

7. I think the United States should try to find an ally in the Middle East other than Israel. I really don't see what other use they are to the rest of the world. I think they're a bunch of self-righteous war mongers. Screw the Manichewitz wine.
8. I only boycott whichever company gives Israel the money, not the companies that are in Israel. So, unless these companies are helping Israel, Im not gonna give them up. And No, if the cell phone was invented in Israel, doesn't mean that they will help them. I don't think everyone in Israel is a terrorist. BTW, its strangely quiet in here, because most of he boycotting people are at the protesting at this time. You'll mostly here "Bush, Bush, you will see, Palestine will be free.". Bush is the one helping Israel kill little kids. I would be happy to boycott everything that supports Israel.
9. f u c k ISRAEL. they have stolen lands, killed children, assaulted women and have even taking the knowledge, information and teachings of many countries (including arab ones) and made them as their own. some technology may be created by them, but they were improved and re-created by many non israeli linked businesses. i could be using the products and inventions you have listed and not be helping Israelis in any way. they're known to be liers, cheaters, thieves, manipulators and murderers i could never EVER support them.. with palestine, arabs and muslims all the way & BOYCOTTING ISRAEL.
10. Most of the boycotting going on is against the BEHAVIOUR of Israel. All what Israel is doing right now is trapping,killing,cornering & murdering innocent people. Any person with sympathy & dignity would want to boycott that.
11. Israel's long term plan is to take all of Palistine. They call Hamas a "Terrorist" group because it fires rockets into Israel. But whatdo they call the soldiers who snuck over the border and killed Hamas members BEFORE the rocket attacks resumed? Why, they're just defe ding Israel. See? Israel can defend itself and that's good. But if Palistinians defend themselves, that's terrorism. Israeli soldiers can kill children and that's "colateral damage" but if Hamas wounds an Israeli - that's an act of "terrorism." It's called propaganda folks. If you want to know what's really going on check out http://www.democracynow.org/ There you will find a real debate between intelligent people for and against the Israeli genocide. Check out the BBC Europe or any European media if you can understand the language. You will be shocked at what's been kept from you but what the rest of the world knows. This is because we (USA) are Israel's main support system so it is important for them to keep us in the dark. It is also why we can expect more frustrated attacks from the Middle East. I want peace for Israel and Palistine. The only way I see that happening is for us (USA) to support or not support BOTH sides equally. No arms for Palistine? Then no arms for ISrael. Limited money for Palistine? Then Limited money for Israel. Support a two state solution and divide ALL the land equally between Israel and Palistine and commit a UN /NATO peacekeeping force with orders to shoot if necessary, to inforce incursions from either side. Until then I am against Israeli genocide (You can not justify intentionally killing women and children and call yourself human) and support the oppressed, the Palistinains and yes, BOYCOTT ALL ISRAELI goods. P.S. Motarola is way behind in the cell phone business.

13. Gullible people read this pro Hamas stuff and think they know the situation. All they know is propaganda, much like the German people knew under Hitler. We will survive and as we always have. We give back land, They give us rockets. We give them prisoners. They give us back bodies. We give them food, they spit in our face. They hide in a school and then scream when it gets hit by Israeli war planes. We have Yeshiva students doing nothing but studying Torah, murdered and the world does nothing. Hamas and Hezbollah are excellent PR and propagandists. People like it when Israel goes to war, No matter who is right or wrong, it gives them a reason to be anti-Semitic and be socially acceptable. During this time, voicing your hatred for Jewish saying Jewish blood is still cheap, is not frowned upon. I think of most of them as hypocrites. If someone was lobbing rockets into your backyards and your nursing homes, what would you do? We dropped leaflets before we attacked (IN SELF DEFENSE). No leaflets are ever sent into Israel. No phone calls saying "Get out". Nothing. Face it. Just like the person who answered and voiced hatred of Jews. That is all this is. Hatred of Jews. Many do not care what the situation is or look at without bias, they just hate Jews. Sad really. I feel sorry for them in a way because we Jews will always exist. Always.
