Is there a way to bypass the prison phone system?

I have Voip service and his collect calls get blocked. Pre-pay service is way to expensive! Does someone know a site or number to call to set it for him to be able to call collect on our own phone?

1. the easy way is to have him call some one on a land line (not blocked line) and 3 way the call to your phone.
2. no. 3 way calls do not work. I install equipment that looks for "hook flashes" and disconnect the call and sends an error code the service provider. this is done to prevent fraud. I install and maintain inmate phone systems.
3. Just get standard service, if you have to talk to your "man" in prison. Question is... why don't you just move on, instead !! ???
4. You can do 3 way, but it will cost the other person the charge from the prison. And you may not want to go that route! You will need to get a land line phone, either pay your bill or get it in a family members name that is ok with it. Good luck@
