What is the good and affordable business phone system?

I am looking for a good and affordable phone system for office to call through intercom. It is not known whether we want to spend lots of money. Can you give us a good idea?

1. There is no better business system than the Nortel BCM range. If you're in Europe send me an email and I can help you source one cheaply

3. I think what you are looking for is a Private Branch Exchange, or PBX. This is what businesses have that allows them to assign an extension to their employees so you can just dial somone's extension and talk to them. I would suggest going for a VoIP system like what is provided by Cisco. This has the broadest range of features and will give you the best results.
