Do i need to add extra lines and numbers to setup my phone system?
this is basically for a small business and i want a phone system that can do basic things like recieve or dial two or more phone calls or numbers at the same time. theres only one land line for now so will i have to add another or what?

- yes, if you would like to make or recieve more then one call at a time you are going to need more lines installed.. each with its own phone number... your local phone provider will install the lines upto your NID (proballay a 110, or 66 block in your case) from the NID to the system, you would need to contact your phone system vendor, who will be able to set up your phone system, and show you how to use its features... when you order the lines you are going to want to add a hunt group, or hunting sequence on the line (this is a feature from the phone company, not the phone system) where when someone calls your main line, it will hunt for the next line that is not busy... ex: call comes in on line 1 (line 1 in use) it goes to line 2 (line 2 in use) then goes to line 3 (line 3 is not in use, so line 3 rings) most small businesses can get away with 4 voice lines, and 1 fax line... normallay DSL is installed on the fax line, and/or any alarm system..
