what is a good company to use for a phone system for small businesses?

1. anything BUT sprint.. they suck
2. I just helped an industrial maintenance company get started and we did a package deal with Comcast to get their phone and internet service.
3. I agree that VoIP is the better way to go as a small business. It is cheaper, there is less hardware and it is easily scalable. Here is a page that has a list of several different SIP providers you can take a look at as you are making a comparison. This is on the NCH Software site, where you can find software to help you manage you phone system no matter what provider you choose, and they have some great solutions for a small business.
