is it true business phones exempt from do not call list? I still get calls on biz phone that is registered.?

when receiving marketing calls lately, I have been told by telemarketers that business phones are not included in the Do Not Call Registry, is this true?

1. This can be true to some extent, however in most scenarios the telemarketing companies will scrub out anyone on the do not call list due to the companies not wanting to risk calling someone on the list.
