If I wanted to start a phone recycling business, what would be the most effective form of advertising?

Also, what types of business have a a lot of business phones that I can go after for recycled phones?

1. The easiest and cheapest way to start advertising is through the internet. Build some sort of following then move to print or other forms of advertising.
2. First of all, it is about location, location, location!!! The "channel" / method doesn't matter. You have to market your service in an area that is populated with phone users. Everyone has a phone, mostly cell phones, but nonetheless a phone! If it was me starting this business and was looking to advertise or market my service in my area, i would start out using flyers and posters; however, i would post them near a JC campus, or any campus for that matter. Reason being, because everyone always needs a new phone (especially college students) and don't want to lug their old one around. Flyers and posters are most effective because everyone is in a hurry and need not be bothered by having to watch, or hear a short snippet. i say this is most effective because if your poster is short, concise, and to the point with as little trite sentences / phrases as possible, then they will see your service advertisement and choose to use your service. As for your second question, since you are thinking phones in general, you could go and ask a rep from any cell-phone booth or phone store about their recycled phones. Maybe, they might give you a break or a good price.
