Toshiba Phone System

How do you hook up a business phone system with a roll over line?

I'm trying to add more phones in a business and they all can be the same lines

  1. roll over is a CO feature. It is set up to send/route calls to a second/alternate line if the first line is busy. To set up the second line is easy, just plug in the phone into a working line. The CO does the rest. if you have an existing phone system, you need to have the telco set up roll over.
  2. The feature name you're looking for is "Hunting". Your phone company can set up a hunting list with the lines on your account. For example, if you have 5 lines, they can make it so everyone can call one number and the switch at the central office will hunt for the next available line in the sequence you designate until it finds one that is available. Costs: There is an additional monthly fee for hunting. You may also need to purchase a phone system if you're looking at more than 4 total lines. There may also be a need for internal wire work.
