Cisco IP Phone running on Broadband?

I'm looking to find out as to whether a Cisco System will work over a broadband connection? Time Warner told me that have had issues with business IP phones over their Fiber network. Is there any truth to this?

its possible
If properly configured, any IP-Phone will work over any good highspeed Internet connection. (as long as the ISP isn't blocking VoIP traffic on purpose...)
