how can I make voice mail pick up after more than 3 rings?

I have sbc service for my land line. My voice mail picks up immediately after 3 rings. That really isn't long enough to get the phone sometimes. How can I change it to at least 5 rings? None of the system prompts seem to address this. Thanks!

1. It most likely needs to be changed through the switch. Call the phone company and tell them what you need. The company I work for allows up to ten rings before picking up.
