WINDOWS VISTA NOT STARTING PLLEEASSEE HELP?

IM NOT ASKING YOUR OPINION OF VISTA, I DON"T CARE, I HAVE IT, AND I HAVE IT, SO SHUT UP I NEED HELP ON HOW TO DO IT, DON"T TELL MY LIMEWIRE IS BAD, I OBVIOUSLY KNOW THAT NOW, USE YOUR HEADS AND GIVE ME GOOD HELP NOT OPINIONS * 9 minutes ago * - 4 days left to answer. Additional Details Just got new toshiba computer, OS windows vista home primium, It is for my brother, and he hasen't seen it yet. So I though I should start downloading things like MSN and itunes. Things he uses alot. So after everything, things were going well. I downloaded limewire, and it finished the download, and at the point in the little firefox box where it says scanning for viruses, the computer froze. So I turned off the computer, and now when it turns on, it goes to, start windows normally, or run wizard or something with the (recomended) next to it, it says it will find the problem and fix it. When it does this, is says at the bottem windows is looking for gfiles, it finishes that in about 5 seconds, then the vista bar comes up when you turn on your computer, the bars go across it as to show its loading vista. Both the help option and the start windows normally option take me to this, but there is no windows vista sign above the bar, just the bar, and it doesn't load after sevral minutes. If I can't fix it, what do I do. It came with re-installation discs, but the last time I used those on my other laptop with vista, it gave me vista, but no drivers, and after hours and hours with dell pn the phone i got it working, turns out you do it on the actally computer, a system restore, but I can't access that. I just posted this, but people don't understand. I CAN"T GET INTO VISTA, there aren't any safemode options, theres a startup repair, which just loads and loads, and theres start windows vista, which loads and loads

  1. Restart your computer and repeditively click the F8 button on the top of your keyboard. Once there a screen should pop up giving you options, including the "Repair your Computer" option on top. Click enter and it will bring you to a menu. Now go to system restore and go to an earlier backup and see if that works. If you have no system restore backups you can go to restore to default system settings. This will wipe out your computer to how it was when you first got it, which shouldn't be problem because it is relatively new.
  2. just at the point that bios ends and windows begins to load hit f8 till the computer beeps alot and it should let you start up in safe mode and give you the option to restore
  3. you know what i suggest, put the discs that came with the laptop, restart it and factory reset it, you shouldnt have been toying around before actually presenting it to your bro. it does not require additional drivers.
