How do I determine the range of IP addresses assigned by DHCP?
How do I determine the range of IP addresses assigned by DHCP? I need to assign an IP address to a PBX phone system. This IP address needs to be outside the range of IPs assigned by my DHCP server.

- Log onto your router (need user name and password) using a web browser. Go to the DHCP page or the LAN config page (where DHCP may be a sub page) and look at the DHCP range that is entered therein. Also, before you assign a static LAN IP address ot your phone system box, make sure it is not already in use by another device. Run the ping command in command prompt for the IP address of interest.
- Dear Friend, I assume that you have Windows 2003 Server installed on your server. First you need to check what Scope (IP Range) already seated in D H C P. Just configure a valid static IP in the PBX system and put the same IP in DHCP server's Reservation list (as start and end IP). - Open DHCP from Admin Tools - Expand Scope - Select Address Pool - Check what is range - Select Reservations - Add PBX IP
