Should I buy a hosted VoIP Phone System for my business?

I'm looking for a phone solution for by business and I've heard that hosted VoIP phone solutions can save companies money. I've also heard that they have cool features that other phones don't, but I'm not sure if it's right for my business and I don't know what these features are. I'd love to hear any info on this before making a purchase.

1. I would say it depends on the size of your business, and how many lines or extensions you require. If you have technical know-how or technical IT staff support, then many people or small companies can setup their own VoIP installations. Using VoIP will always save you money over PSTN landlines or PSTN based PBX solutions. The question is whether you do it yourself or hire a company that specializes in hosted solutions. As far as the cool features of VoIP, virtially all VoIP services have all the bells and whistles at low cost compared to what the PSTN based telcos charge.
